Dry erase laminate is a name for any glossy, usually white surface for non-permanent markings. Dry erase laminate is analogous to chalkboards, allowing rapid marking and erasing of markings on their surface. Dry erase laminate is a structured way to communicate a message that can be changed on the fly. We can also print permanent images onto dry erase laminate such as your logo or signature if you choose to do so.Dry erase laminate can be to all of the options below:
Foam Core, Coroplast and PVC
Choose this dry erase laminate option if you plan to use your custom goal thermometer more than once.
FOAM CORE
Foam board is a very strong, lightweight, and easily cut material used for the mounting of photographic prints, as backing in picture framing, in 3D design, and in painting. It is also in a material category referred to as “Paper-faced Foam Board”. It consists of three layers — an inner layer of polystyrene foam clad with outer facing of either a white clay coated paper or brown kraft paper.The surface of the regular board, like many other types of paper, is slightly acidic. However for modern archival picture framing and art mounting purposes it can be produced in a neutral, acid-free version with a buffered surface paper, in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses.
COROPLAST
Many standard colors and sizes are available. Custom colors are available by quote.Coroplast® is the material of choice for today’s screen printing industry. Coroplast is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications. It is tougher than corrugated fiberboard and lighter than extruded plastic sheet. It is waterproof and stain-resistant.All Coroplast stock sheets are electro statically double treated by “Corona Discharge” on both sides to allow specifically formulated inks and adhesives to adhere.
We offer coroplast in both 4mm and 10mm.
PVC (POLYVINYL CHLORIDE)
Poly(vinyl chloride), commonly abbreviated PVC, is the third-most widely produced plastic, after polyethylene and polypropylene.PVC is used in construction because it is more effective than traditional materials such as copper, iron or wood in pipe and profile applications. It can be made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers, the most widely used being phthalates. In this form, it is also used in clothing and upholstery, electrical cable insulation, inflatable products and many applications in which it replaces rubber.We offer PVC in both 4mm and 6mm.

Pricing – For thermometers that are less than 24″ x 36″ will be mounted on 3mm white PVC at no additional cost. Do to shipping costs these custom donation thermometers that our larger than 24×36 will be produced on heavy weight vinyl. If you would like to use a rigid substrate like PVC additional oversize shipping costs can apply to your order.Note- Please remember to select the appropriate upgrade such as dry erase, Foam Core, PVC, or Coroplast, mounting holes, or doubles sided tape backing
